Unfortunately it does not currently support audio sharing, but I’d recommend keeping an eye on Bananas Screen Sharing, as it may support it soon, from what I’ve seen in their Discord discussions.
Freet make durable barefoot shoes out of recycled materials for usually a pretty affordable price. They’re made in the UK.
If you’re not able to find an adequate solution for Obsidian, you may want to investigate TriliumNext Notes.
Pretty much just Peertube.
Eternity is a solid one, was my main for quite some time until I used Voyager while waiting for Eternity to to update to work with the latest Lemmy at the time, and ended up sticking with Voyager.
I do miss the user avatars though, voyager doesn’t have those.
I thought doubting God was a sin and I’d go to hell if I died with doubt in my heart, so I avoided atheist material out of fear that it was Satan working through them to tempt me to doubt.
But eventually I just couldn’t resist, and figured the atheist arguments would clearly be false, and God’s truth or whatever would show through and then I could always refer to that event to shake any doubts.
The first video I watched was a debate between a pastor and Christopher Hitchens.
Absolutely shook my faith to the core. For a couple days afterward, no matter how I tried to twist it, I couldn’t find the fault in Hitchens arguments.
After that, I began to research the history of Christianity with a more open mind, and it became clear what a shit show the whole thing was. I became agnostic, and I suppose in a way I still am a bit, in the sense that the existence of reality itself is quite puzzling, but I can say with certainty that no religion on earth has any answers toward that end.
Lmfao, that’s an excellent way of putting it 😂
I suspect it was due to how much force is required to finally overcome the membrane, which caused a sharp and semi forceful drop as I bottomed out, and there’s not much squish or dampening to soften it. I think I’m a somewhat heavy typer though, so that likely compounded it.
I used one of these for a while, and weirdly it’s the only keyboard I’ve ever used that gave me finger pain.

The Mystic Crystal by Ninja Sex Party is a great story song.
Also most of TWRP has songs that tell stories, like Starlight Brigade or Black Swan
True, forgot about them! Only issue with Lems (or at least their boots) is their construction doesn’t lend itself super well to resole-ing (though neither do Vivo’s, really), though I have heard of cobblers doing it by grinding down the existing sole and gluing on a replacement.
The Jim Green Barefoot African Ranger is constructed like a traditional boot, so is easily resoled by any cobbler, but I had to send mine back since they weren’t wide enough for me (they seem to be on the more narrow end of ‘barefoot’ style boots).
But for how affordable lems are, they’re a solid choice and have way more cushion than vivos.
After trying Barefoot style shoes (which usually have much wider than normal toeboxes) I can never go back.
Vivobarefoot shoes are expensive, but pretty high quality and have a great toebox.
Freet are more affordable and often made of recycled material, but some of their designs can be slightly odd looking. They hold up well though, very nice quality from the reviews I’ve seen. They’re made in the UK, I believe.
Splay shoes offer what is essentially wide toebox vans.
There’s tons more though. I’d recommend Anya’s Reviews to narrow down what suits you best, she’s pretty legit in her info from what I’ve seen.
I put together a large list of categorized Linux compatible games, many of which are multiplayer, all if them are free, and each entry lists their open-source status. Hopefully y’all can find some good ones there for this group :)
Personally, I suggest OpenSpades
There’s nothing from a user experience currently that makes bluesky bad, it’s just that since it doesn’t seem to actually support decentralization, there’s nothing to stop it from eventually getting just as bad as twitter over time due to profit incentive. Misskey/mastodin are the only microblogging platforms that are truly immune from corporate manipulation and enshittification, which would mean it’s a long term solution (that while imperfect, can only get better).
The API debacle got me to leave, I had become fond of Infinity for reddit, and saw there was a fork for Lemmy called eternity.
I implored a sub I nodded to join me, likely a handful did.
I like it here much better, I can never go back now.
First and foremost: at this juncture, I would implore everyone to keep OPSEC firmly in mind, and to take preemptive precautions.
Use a phone with Graphene OS, and use encrypted communication (preferably XMPP, but Signal at the very least. No technology is best)
with that said,
Mutual aid will be more important than ever, join and build up your local groups if you’re able, it will pay off in dividends in the coming years.
We have tremendous collective power if we just use it, and hopefully this outcome will result in us coming together and building that world in the shell of the old. Collective solidarity is our only solution left.
Alan Carr’s stop smoking book is highly regarded, and encourages you to smoke as you read along, until by the end you won’t want to.
Combine that with a NAC supplement (which doesn’t do anything for withdrawals, but studies show it makes trying smoking again far more unpleasant for your brain which helps you stay off them.
The court scene in Drumhead where Picard refutes accusations of being a traitor by essentially quoting an IWW mantra and core tenant of Anarchism.
Bonus follow-up discussion with Worf after the trial.
Additional bonus, the IWW still operates to this day, and will gladly help train and support anyone to unionize their workplace, blue collar or white collar.
