Its actually a loss for Google, they are selling a good set of secure hardware for a cheap price in hopes of gleaning your data. But yeah the notch is stupid, especially when icons fall under it.

No, its a decent phone and GrapheneOS has degoogled everything and sandboxed play store if you use it. Storage spaces are sandboxed, camera and mic off switches. Lots of other security and privacy options, and 5 years of support
GrapheneOS on a Pixel phone. Immich self host as a replacent for facial recognition and albums on google photos
I see. Whatever works for you is the best way
Is the fridge pushed back all the way in the additional photos? They should make shallower fridges
Written letters and phonecalls on the weekend when the long distance rate was cheaper.
Well you are in luck. No video but images of analysis. Hedgehog plot of normal vectors, they converge to flat at stem base. Hard to see since the stem/dimple share space.
Confirmation of immediate angle at stem base
Slope plot. Green being 0 degrees from up vector.
Dimple hole showing its not a cylindrical stem
Stem slope, green being immediate 0 vector
I’m on a trip so won’t have access to my CAD analysis tools, so no video I’m afraid.
No you weren’t. That will be £5
Doesn’t matter, the point where stem and dimple are deepest and encapsulated would have same vector direction initially. Topology doesn’t need to be cylindrical to have vectors
At the deepest part where it surrounds stem tightly there will be an instant tangent which then immediately becomes non tangent. A G0 and G1 condition and not G2
Incidental Tangent to the surface where the stem starts.
No all good, they look amazing. I think my Grandparents may have had an Olivetti… It looks so familiar.
Same here, I saw one picture of the IBM that looked like it could have bumps, but the pixelation also meant it could just be reflections due to the convex shape. Also if you have old typewriters, its a faux pas not to share pictures LOL
Use an email relay, and don’t enter many personal details. While this stuff is invisible to general users, marketers can purchase a paid linked in that allows gleaning that data and making call lists, so it will have your name, email, phone number, job description etc. This is fine if you hope somebody calls you for a job, but it also gets in the wrong hands and you get spam on your phone and email
Totally unsure if this is accurate, but chatgpt is 100% confident LOL. Brand/Model Approximate Introduction Year Homing Nubs on F and J Keys IBM Selectric 1961 Yes Royal Quiet Deluxe 1939 Yes Hermes 3000 1958 Yes Olivetti Lettera 22 1950 Yes Underwood Standard 1929 Yes
Couldn’t find images showing these. Looks like on computers their is info about it starting in 83
Chatgpt says 1950s. But who knows if that is accurate
I assume once key caps were molded plastic
Hows your backpain? You must be going way back on equipment. Everything I have had from 85 on has had a dimple or raised dash.
Married 20 years, never thought abut cheating, got divorced , and remarried 15 years now, and never think about cheating. If you commit to somebody, they should be your one and only, IMO.
